Stayed in silent king room with comfortable bed, all comforts, as for instance.

It was optimal for us! It was our first time in Rome and we would check in here again anytime. The friendliness, the breakfast (only takes a little longer when something is out), the location and the cleanliness!
The lighting in the rooms is the only thing we did not like that much. Unfortunately it was much too dark and it gave you the feeling of being in a dark room.

Well priced hotel with very nice facilities and hard-working employees from the front desk to the chambermaids. Location so close to the Colosseum and really nice restaurants, and such as the headboard.

Very friendly staff. Great breakfast on the newly furnished roof terrace. Good beds, very clean room. The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing. Most of Rome's attractions are easily accessible on foot. Drinks from the minibar were free of charge.

- Excellent location (Colosseum is 10 min away and visible from street and about 20 min. From Termini Station. - Superbly renovated bathroom. - Good breakfast and breakfast area on the rooftop terrace (even though there were not much to see from there) - Staff were helpful and polite - Room was clean with fine tapestries. -Good value for money.
-Beds were slightly narrow. -Shower had shower head but no faucet (which was ok with me).

The staff were friendly, always ready to assist with our needs. Breakfast on the rooftop was good, with an amazing view of the city! We particularly enjoyed the comfort of our bed.

Perfect location on quiet street very close to main attractions. The room was comfortable and we can relax after full day walks in Rome. The breakfast was good enough.
Air-conditioning wasn't strong enough. In the room was warmly, but not hot

The Hotel Apollo, we found, was in a great location for seeing all the sites in Rome and close to bars and restaurants. We found the staff were all friendly and helpful if you had questions about your stay in Rome.

I liked the fact that it was clean and the the apartment was recently renovated. It also had plenty of room for the five of us.
The hotel management washed its hands and their general basic responsibilities of its guest as soon as payment was taken (upon check in). There was no service to the customer, evening/night reception staff spoke no English and it was very difficult to converse especially when I had an emergency and I required medical assistance about an hour after we checked in(almost midnight). There was no phone in the apartment to contact the hotel! No directory or emergency phone numbers or instructions about the hotel and its services or any general information. No information at all for guests. When asked for a doctor they found one that spoke English and could assist, however, in about an hour and 200 Euros later. They did phone a taxi for us to take our child to the hospital. Hospital staff was wonderful and didn’t charge for their service. I still cry every time I think about it, how I felt with a sick child in a strange country, almost midnight, no phone, no contact with hotel, no Italian. That’s why I booked a hotel and not a private apartment so that I would have that security. They were not helpful at all, made us feel isolated and alone! It shouldn’t have happened! It spoiled our holiday! Towels were supposed to have been washed every 3 days, they didn’t come in to do that or clean the apartment. No iron or ironing table, no laundry facilities in the apartment (apartments generally have one), no toaster and we had to ask them for toilet paper! Unbelievable! Apartment is fairly away from the hotel itself, good five minutes when carrying luggage and not easily found. No name on front door to indicate apartment or Hotel name. Apartment was clean , however, we felt boxed in, as if we lived underground as there was no natural light, no view( apart from small balcony looking inward to courtyard I.e concrete views of other apartments).
